In this Dante’s inferno world the day slimes along slowly
heinous reptilian creatures grapple for rotted flesh
to eat or couple with in lewd self gratified frenzy

stamping on beauty and innocence until in the monsters wake
they are disappeared absorbed in the foul smelling bowels of the beast

overcrowded stench filled gutters where shadows turn away
honour and wisdom are relics of the fantasy long dead
love the mutilated victim at the bottom of that long dark hole
no more to breathe the sweet air now replaced with putrid writhing

and this man’s testimony to the rape of his paradise.

i am afraid as much as i tried to edit i could not get this to form the picture on the page i wanted- the programme would not play ............ so it does not visualise as i wanted
